When a person is diagnosed with cancer, they begin a journey down a path that no one wants to take. In recent years, countless trials and tests have been carried out to find a cure for this terrible disease, but none have been entirely successful. There are treatments on the market that can help and slow down the process, but they have various side effects that are not very appealing. The best treatments in the world today include: Rituxan, Avastin, Revlimid and Gleevec. They all have different tasks and developments that affect the body but each is remarkable in its own way.INTRODUCTIONCancer affects us all in one way or another, whether as a patient or through people's diagnosis that you love around you. Millions of cancer patients depend on oncologists around the world to cure cancer so that others do not suffer as they had to. With some optimism, sooner or later this international problem will end. A number of pharmaceutical companies offer cancer drugs. "Oncology is one of the hottest and most active therapeutic areas in drug development. Drugmakers may want to take note of a finding that new cancer drugs are "proved much more difficult to gain approval than drugs for infectious and autoimmune diseases."
