Discouraging attackers without harming them places adversaries in a unique situation, which makes it easier to manipulate into favorable battlefield conditions. When manipulating conditions on the battlefield to achieve a more favorable situation, the master must keep the Code of Conscious Action at the forefront of his thoughts. Following the principles of the Conscious Action Code will lay the foundation for peace through establishing trust and respect, creating an imperceptible beginning that develops a complete process facilitating the perceptible beginning. This advantage allows the ninja to establish their own rules which, with properly focused intention, evolve towards love resulting in harmony..
