I find it difficult to work with other popular leaders because the work then tends to be shared between the two of us, which in my opinion , makes us both ineffective. Consensus on Leadership Assessment I honestly think this test is a little biased. This really says a lot about popularity and other people's views. I know a lot of people who are nice and popular, but who aren't very effective leaders. Most people want to be the “boss” or leader, but desire and popularity do not make an effective leader (Maudal & Fossen, 2014). Conclusion I think these exams confirmed what I knew about my leadership style. In my honest opinion, I think a person would know where they stand on the leadership scale before taking these tests. You can still be effective in an organization by not being a leader and not having these characteristics. Mid-level management is a great place for people who want to become a leader and hone their skills to become a more effective leader. Leading small teams under positive leadership would give them the ability to grow and learn. They should avoid common biases in decision-making, such as strong emotional ties and popularity seeking. I would advise these potential leaders to avoid making decisions to secure people like you.
