Avoiding, my personal definition of avoidance is when the two people in the relationship/friendship don't spend a lot of time together, but it's not because they can't, it's because they do it. I don't want to. From personal experience, I can agree with this because as time went on, I felt more and more distant from Paulette and, honestly, I didn't want to talk to her. I noticed that whenever I was around her or talking to her, I would become annoyed and irritated very quickly, and there were times when I could tell she felt the same way. Every time she tried to go out with me, I would just tell her I wasn't available or that I was doing something else.
