    A breach experiment is arguably the best way to obtain data on the sociological reactions exhibited to a fracture in perceived social normality. Typically, people can stroll leisurely from store to store in a shopping center with few or no obstacles in their way. Faced with the clutter of a person who interferes with their walk, how would they react? This is the question we set out to answer. First, we had to decide how we were going to hinder their movements. The settlement ultimately proved relatively simple; just sit in the middle of the aisle. But that wasn't enough to answer what we were looking for. We had to do something else while sitting to trick our emotions into trying to interact with us. We made the choice to bury our heads in our hands, in what appeared to be an emotionally distraught way, in an attempt to invoke interaction.
