    “Into the Woods” includes a song composed by Stephen Sondheim and later written in book form by James Lapine. It won several awards at the Tony Awards, namely Best Book, Best Music and Best Actress in a Musical. The awards were handed out when the industry was dominated by The Phantom of the Opera. Bernadette Peters' performance as the Witch and Joanna Gleason's portrayal of the Baker's Wife received acclaim from the production during its original Broadway run. The lyrics are a tribute to the singer's lifestyle where we learn about the lives of several dark brothers and the consequences of their characters' desires and pursuits. The lyrics embrace the life of a childless baker and his wife who were looking to start a family. A witch had placed a curse on them but their journey involves other characters. Cinderella wanted to attend the king's party. Jack, on the other hand, wanted his cow to give milk. The baker and his wife were planning to have a child. Another actor is Little Red Riding Hood who was buying bread for her grandmother. In this speech we will focus on Cinderella with the lyrics from “On the Steps of the Palace”. Cinderella's family went to the king's party and she thought about going to her mother's grave for advice. His mother's spirit gave him a dress and golden slippers, Jack, on the other hand, met a man who discouraged him from selling the milk for a bag of beans, the man then disappeared. Little Red Riding Hood encountered a hungry wolf who mistook her for accompanying her after eating her grandmother. Cinderella went to the festival with her beautiful dress and golden slippers where she discovered that a prince was following her. The woman helped her hide and explains the real myth to which Cinderella applauded. According to...... middle of paper ......this but I was very bored. This portrays her as a desirous woman who has self-esteem. Cinderella, helped by her bird friends, realizes that her mother's grave has been disturbed and decides to investigate. Each character returned to the woods with a dark spirit as the birds stopped singing. Cinderella was encountered at her mother's grave and was confused to join other characters for safety reasons. This was after the giant had become a woman that everyone in the community lusted after. While waiting for the wife to return, the Witch dragged Jack who was sacrificed to the giantess. This means that Cinderella was lucky to escape the giantess's haunting sacrifice. Cinderella reflects the emotional characters and she stays with the baker's child and confronts the prince who has no time for her. Finally she comes out with the lyrics "I wish..." this means she regrets the life before..
