In the end, everything was fine. I found out a few days later that yes, my car had been totaled. Luckily, I had insurance and was able to buy a new car. I am happy that my mother chose to take me to Santé Dignité, the service I had was second to none and fast, and if I ever find myself in a situation where I need to go to the emergency room again, I will quickly ask to be taken to a Dignity health emergency
