America's joining World War I is a huge decision that can affect the lives of millions of people and our country as a whole. Many things could happen and we have to take them into account. Some benefits of going to war could be a better economy, more jobs, and stopping Germany. Some disadvantages of joining the war could be loss of money, loss of lives and possibly loss of the war. Deciding whether or not to go to war is a difficult decision and one must weigh the pros and cons to make a decision. One of the advantages of going to war is that there would be more job opportunities available. With all the men gone to war, jobs will open up. This could be an opportunity for the unemployed, including some women, to find employment. United States involvement in the war will also increase the need for supplies and weapons. Some things we will need will be weapons, planes and tanks. These will have to be carried out by the American people, which will lead to new job opportunities.
