Saudi ArabiaThe Saudi flag is a very interesting flag to know. The color green signifies the belief that the color green is the favorite color of the Prophet Muhammad and his daughter. Green also represents the relationship with heaven. The sword at the bottom of Saudi Arabia means having strength in military action and in prowess. Also on the flag is the shahada, which means (“There is no god but God and Muhammad is the messenger of God”). The Saudi flag never flies at half-mast either. History Saudi Arabia is located in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia is just over a fifth the size of the United States. The border countries surrounding Saudi Arabia are (Iraq 814 km, Jordan 744 km, Kuwait 222 km, Oman 676 km, Qatar 60 km, United Arab Emirates 457 km, Yemen 1,458 km). Saudi Arabia's natural resources are oil, natural gas, iron ore, gold and copper. Saudi Arabia's biggest recourse is the oil it sells to other countries around the world, as it is a very rich country. (Saudi Arabia is also the largest Arab state in Western Asia). The capital of Saudi Arabia is Riyadh. GovernmentThe first sign of human life dates back to 15,000 and 20,000 years ago. The Nile and Mesopotamia were the means by which the Arabs first began to work with other countries. Saudi Arabia, along with other countries, has been a region under British military and naval protection since the 1830s. Saudi Arabia was not colonized because it had nothing to exchange or buy. The birth of Islam began with a man named Muhammad who received a massage from God (in Arabic, Allah) through the angel Gabriel. Food Most food in Saudi Arabia consists of wheat, rice, lamb, chicken, yogurt and dates. There is a yogurt-based drink called laban. There are also cafes where you talk to people. There are also fast food establishments like McDonalds, Pizza Hut, but they are based on their tradition, so the food is what they could use. As is tradition, guests receive hot coffee and dates as a sign of hospitality. They also eat certain foods with their hands that are part of their religion. Drinking tea is also famous in Saudi Arabia, with friends, family and strangers. Kabsa is the most traditional dish in Saudi Arabia. Kabsa is made from chicken or meat, onions, tomatoes, cooking oil, rice, salt, spices and water..
