Also, the material was interesting to their grade level and experiences. Additionally, students enjoyed sharing their personal thoughts and experiences, which leads to a more intimate learning process that can further benefit students. Additionally, the short story contained some facts that can be learned by the students and the drawing and coloring part at the end energized the students by attracting their attention, which reinforced what had been learned. However, what I would change was how I introduced the lesson. I just gave them the worksheet and we read it, but what I should have done is have a quick discussion about what we are going to read to introduce them to the genre. Additionally, I noticed that students had difficulty looking for answers in the text. However, I reminded them that it's like looking for an object in our picture puzzles that we do for fun after homework is done. After telling the students this, they changed their attitude from thinking it was difficult to thinking it was fun. They were able to connect search strategies learned in picture puzzles and implement them with word search. So the only difference is that they are now searching for words instead of
