(5.2.355-356) In the movie O, the protagonist Odin was tricked by Hugo when he was told that Michael had Dessie's scarf. Odin was furious at the fact that he had overheard the conversation that Hugo had with Michael and had seen the scarf in Michael's hands, but the plan that Hugo had placed was already established and Odin did not realize it. It was at this point that Odin was completely manipulated by Hugo into strangling Dessie to death and ultimately committing suicide himself. The actions committed by both antagonists were unjust. Both the play and the film began with a bond of trust between the protagonist and the antagonist, while the antagonist had the upper hand over the intention of betrayal and succeeded. 4.
