In April 2014, the city manager of Flint, Michigan, made a decision that he believed would have been best for the city in order to save money money. Republican Gov. As the story unfolded, the question that came to mind was why it took them a year to try to get back to the Detroit water system. Why is money a major issue when many people's lives are at stake? In both incidents where I witnessed the lack of social inclusion, I believe that recommendations such as those I have listed below will help resolve similar issues in the future.
