    It's time to visit the city while waiting for his nephew, captain of a ship, to set sail. As he solemnly surveyed the city, Crusoe understood that London, or any other city for that matter, was meant for him. The lifestyle wasn't foreign to him at all, it was more the fact that during his years abroad he had become accustomed to another life, another set of rules. He had become accustomed to a more primitive way of life, one based not on the intricacies of twisted politics, but on raw human emotion and survival of the fittest. Crusoe saw this period as an opportunity to turn the page and begin writing a new chapter in his life. At the time, London was rebuilding, having been the scene of a disastrous firestorm that burned much of the city to the ground. Although the city had suffered heavy losses, both human and financial, London was reorganizing itself through a tedious rebuilding process. It seems entirely appropriate that Crusoe should come to the city at this time, as both are very delicate in their states of rediscovery and
