    What does socio-legal mean? Socio-legal is the combination of social and legal factors, mainly examining the relationship between law and society. In this project, as law students, we need to use our legal knowledge and skills to work well as a team to plan and carry out events for schools and colleges. The socio-legal role is to use our knowledge and expertise as law students and put it into action by planning and organizing successful events. This can be done in different ways, but the main function is to be able to work well in a team/committee in order to achieve the best result. Dr. Meredith Belbin is known for his team role theory, in which he examines different types of people and how effective they are at working in a group/team. By reviewing Dr. Belbin's research and theory, I can come to a conclusion as to what is needed to work effectively in a team. What does it take to succeed as a team? There's not much you can do to be successful as a team. As long as everyone is on the same page and focused on the same end result, it is very easy to succeed. Some of these characteristics include: shared goals, productivity, understanding different roles, good communication, personal growth and recognition, teamwork and mutual respect, and remaining open to “outsiders” . When all, if not most, of these characteristics are taken into account, it is very easy to build a high-performing team and achieve a positive outcome. Below I've listed each feature with what it means.
