Pursuing a career in adult nursing is a challenge that I am ready to take on. There are many rewarding aspects, such as the benefits associated with feeling like you've made a difference in someone's life, big or small. The overall achievements would keep me passionate and striving to do my best throughout my career. I hope to excel at this university by obtaining a BSc honors degree allowing me to eventually work within the healthcare system. Over the years, I have gotten used to caring for and taking care of others, especially coming from a large family. Having had a terminally ill sister and a diabetic mother, such challenges motivated me to pursue a career in nursing. After seeing my sister go through some challenges, it made me want to get involved in the healthcare field and make a real difference in people's lives. From my personal experience, I was inspired by the nursing care and treatment she received. It made me aware of the impact of illnesses on families but also of the different support systems and organizations....
