There have been so many instances where I'm eating with my family and I look at another table and someone is in deep conversation on the cell phone, while their family is with them. There are many reasons why restricting cell phones could have a positive outcome. This can be rude to a family, disrespectful to other people around them, and when a family goes out together it should be family time. The first is the fact that it is rude to a person's family. When a family plans an event that includes going out in public and eating a meal together, the family expects that they will have conversation and personal time together.
