The social aspect of women's roles and duties as a woman. Society plays a role which is reflected in the parallel between Girl and the women's pool. For the girl, her role is restricted in the sense of her mother. Restrictions have consequences that she must follow. These restrictions are guidelines that may or may not help her as a woman, but she is subject to these guidelines to survive in a male-controlled society. In the women's pool, the young woman finds a way to escape her old cultural values and adapt to a new culture. She will be forced to make a decision that will put her in a position where she will either have to leave her grandmother or give up her desire at the pool. Her grandmother is a symbol of her old cultural values and the swimming pool is symbolized by the new culture eager to change. In the old generation, no one is ready to accept change, but in the new generations, they are ready to seek change. Which leads to consequences and a lot of
