Essay / Two Totalitarian Regimes: Communism and Nazism - 941
Two totalitarian regimes that are both political systems and have influenced society significantly are Communism and Nazism. They influenced and changed people's rights, their vision of things and people in general. Communism and Nazism are the two totalitarian systems I will talk about. They spread to different areas, but both had serious consequences. Communism began in Russia and spread to Eastern Europe and Nazism began in Germany and spread to that region. People went through many difficult times when these two totalitarian systems were in power, but we can't always say that people's lives were better before they came to power. NAZISM As I have already said, Nazism is a totalitarian system which was particularly present in Germany. . Many parts of society have been influenced by Nazism and here are the most common. For example, women who lived in countries under Nazi control were influenced and greatly affected. The Nazis also had their own idea of the ideal German, the ideal woman and the ideal family. The ideal German, for example, had, according to the Nazis, blond hair and blue eyes. A fun fact about this is that in reality Hitler, who was so popular with people with blond hair and blue eyes, was quite the opposite himself. He had brown hair and blue eyes. The ideal family for the Nazis was a family of 4 members. Now comes the part about the ideal woman, after World War I, women got more rights and respect. Now Hitler wanted their position and achievements to recede and remain underdeveloped. For Hitler, the ideal woman did not work, did not wear makeup, did not follow the latest trends, she had to wear flat shoes and have braided hair. In fact, women were forbidden from smoking in restaurants because, according to the Nazis' belief, doing so... middle of paper ... their movement would be brought down. The French threw down their weapons and raised their hands in surrender. Adolf Hitler single-handedly took them prisoner. It is terrible how young children have already been brainwashed and focused on Hitler's courage. Of course, in Russia the propaganda was no different: Nazism and Communism were two different totalitarian systems that both influenced society significantly. They influenced people's opinions about things and people, which they did mainly through propaganda spread everywhere. In Nazism, very diverse groups of society were influenced, such as women, nuns and priests, and people's thinking and opinions were changed, for example Jews or the ideal family and woman ideal. Communism affected people a lot, especially peasants, and they both made people live in fear and under propaganda..
