Alison's alarm went off and she groaned. Usually his mother would have yelled at him to get up and get out of bed now. However, today no sound was heard and Alison knew that was a bad sign. She turned off her alarm and went to the bathroom and washed herself. Downstairs, in the kitchen, everything was quiet too. It seemed as if her mother hadn't come home all night, until she saw a cup by the sink. Alison wanted to pick her up, but at the same time she was nervous about what she might say to her, so she decided against it. She made her breakfast and quickly ate her cereal then left the house. She met Sarah halfway down her street. Sarah smiled brightly at her friend. Alison was half smiling, she wasn't feeling very well and wanted to go back to bed until the end of the day. “It’s not like you’re early,” Sarah said, smiling. “How are you feeling this morning?” “Well thanks, I just want to end this day, feel like this is going to be my worst day.” "Oh, don't say that. Have you seen your mother?" No, glad in a way, after she stormed off last night, I hope I don't see her all weekend. " "Where did she go? " Sarah asked quietly. "No idea, but wherever it is, I bet it must have something to do with the union." Alison and Sarah walked towards school, the sun was shining in the sky, another day sunny day was planned. However, Alison didn't care, she wanted the night to come quickly. She knew she had to see her mother sometime during the day.
