Ingvar AmbjørnsenIngvar Even Ambjørnsen-Haefs is a Norwegian writer, born May 20, 1956 in Larvik. His father worked as a postman and his mother was a stay-at-home mother. He was never very good at school, but he knew how to write styles. The styles he wrote were full of typos, but the content was still good. Ambjørnsen has always loved reading and he has two favorite authors; Jens Bjørneboe and Knut Hamsun. He read all their books several times, and by the time he was 14, he had already decided to become a writer. Eleven years later, he became a writer, but his studies did not go well. After just a month, he gave up the gym. Shortly after, he found himself in environments where the use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs was central. He worked many odd jobs, but eventually found employment at Lier Hospital, where he was inspired to write his first book; “23 room”. It's about life in a psychiatric ward of a hospital.
