    Johnson & Johnson's innovative ideas, effective marketing and management strategies have allowed the company to thrive for over a century. J&J's products, services and ideas have touched the lives of billions of people around the world. Additionally, the consistent approach to company management and the character of the employees have given Johnson & Johnson the opportunity to succeed in an extremely competitive pharmaceutical industry. Some of the strategies used at J&J include continuously improving product quality and creation speed, controlling production factors, expanding your market, doing things differently, and having a purpose well targeted. • Continuously improve product quality and creation speed. Confident of its success, J&J implemented a system through which the company could continue to improve the quality of the products, as well as other services it offers. “Johnson & Johnson's creation of a bacteriological laboratory in 1891 allowed it to be at the top of the competition in terms of quality and product creation” (J&J Business Strategies). It is extremely important to be prompt in creating and introducing a product, because as a business it is crucial that products reach the market sooner than the competition.
