    Music is an everyday occurrence for most people. One way or another, people listen to music. For Christians, especially those attending Bible school, this can be done daily in chapel. For others, it may be in a car or even in the workplace, which may also be the case for Christians. For me, music is a daily occurrence, not only in chapel but also in other places like my dorm and when I'm getting ready to play sports. These things led me to research the topic of music. It has a huge impact on my life. I sometimes listen to music when I'm stressed and need to escape. I listen to music to prepare for sports games, like football and basketball. Music is in my dorm when I do my homework. When I read or clean my room, I usually listen to music. Music not only has a huge impact on my life, but also on those around me. My girlfriend listens to music at a very high level. She is part of the music program here at Trinity. My brother plays guitar and listens to music regularly. When asked, he replied that music was present in every aspect of his life. My adoptive parents listen to music to keep them awake when they travel. They constantly listen to music around the house to do things. There are many points of view on music. As a Christian, I sought opinions expressed by people of the same faith. The first question I asked and researched was, “Can music necessarily be Christian and non-Christian?” I found an article by Jerry Solomon that expanded on this question.
