IntroductionThroughout history, family events that occur at the same time from generation to generation are considered beliefs or religions. Religions are growing in all parts of the world with specific guidelines and values for leading a balanced spiritual life. In the world of events, religion is the main foundation of an individual's life. According to the manual, all religions share the goal of reconciliation, linking people to something behind the surface of life (Fisher, 2014). The purpose of this article is to present the similarities and differences between the two religions, Taoism and Jainism. The cultural origin and geographic origin are also presented, as well as the description of three (3) particular religious practices of the two religions. The final instruction is to provide an example of how religions are practiced today in various parts of the world. Cultural and geographical origins The first religion chosen was Taoism (Taoism), an oriental religion born from the wealth of a group of healers with power over the elements. In China, these healers are known as shamans. Shamans are recognized as having the ability to communicate with animals and knowledge of the various uses of plants (Seymour, nd.). During the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhang Taoling settled on Singing Crane Mountain (Mount Heming). He began producing and circulating books advocating the Tao after claiming to have received the "Powerful Commonwealth of Orthodox Unity (Zhengyi Meng Wei) from the Supreme Master Lao Zi." His teachings centered on summoning deities, magical incantation, and mastering ghosts. , as well as breathing exercises (Elijame, 2011).
