  • Essay / Jennifer Bonilla Ruby Bridges - 741

Look around you. Does everyone look like you? Do you see people of different races? That’s what I think: “If you don’t know me, don’t judge me.” My character is Ruby Nell Bridges, she was born in Tyler, Mississippi on 9-8-1954, she's still alive for real, she's alive, she's 54 years old. His school was in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the only black girl that went to a white school but she had 4 other girls that also went to a white school but my character had a lot going on, she was bullied and she was treated badly. It's not right because she wanted to be treated right because everyone is supposed to be treated right because if you don't treat everyone right you won't be treated right because everyone is supposed to be treated in the same way. Ruby Bridges was really famous, she helped children, and she also helped people who needed money, like for example children who had no laughs. Ruby Bridges was there for those people, I hope one day I become famous and help kids who need help because you have to treat people well, not mistreat them because they didn't care about you. never did anything. I would love to help children. What was Ruby's upbringing? Her big school was in New Orleans, at William Frantz Elementary School, but it was only for kindergarten through eighth grade. In the United States of America, kindergarten to sixth grade was only allowed in elementary schools, but like middle school, it was only three grades, 7th to 9th grade, I mean , it's great at Ruby's school because you're in the same school all the time and you don't leave your friends and you're like "Dude, I've still had you as a friend since kindergarten." It's great because I mean, we've been friends for a long time. I wish I could have a friend like that for a long time because you will be...... middle of paper ...... he's a big manager of a library and a museum but I mean you have to being respectful and treating others the way you want to be treated that's what Ruby said and I think it's true because we all make mistakes and we learn from our mistakes, everyone learns what it's like good and bad that's what Ruby said I believe her words because they are true Ruby was a great person to be honest she really was but she did a lot of things for her career she thought about people how to be kind I love Ruby. She did this, just a few questions for you. Are these people around you of different races? Does everyone look like you? Don't judge people if you don't know them that's my only question for you because for you because you have to respect everyone because if you don't you might have to walk the whole recess because it's not supposed to happen.
