  • Essay / The Company Culture of WL Gore & Associates

Gore & Associates is a very interesting and unique organization for multiple reasons, and its self-managed team concept style may not be recognized as the best practice in the business world (Kinicki and Kreitner, 2009). However, their approach to teamwork and the way they compensate their employees has worked exceptionally well for them. Additionally, I like how they utilize each team within their organization and the teamwork mentality of the organization in general. Personally, I would like to work for an organization that embraces some of the principles and concepts that WL Gore & Associates implements in their organization.
