Essay / Accepting Opposites in the Learning Process - 857
It is essential for a student to know what it means to learn and to recognize the areas in which one's response is not in line with what is vital for learning. To succeed as a student, it is necessary to constantly revise the attitudes adopted towards the two different characteristics of learning, so that learning can be transformed into a real acquisition of knowledge or skills complemented by experience, study and teaching. experience is only acquired through practice. A child learns to walk after several falls. These many falls will bring experience to the child and suddenly one day the child will walk without problems. This can also be applied to how we learn to tie our shoes, brush our teeth, write, etc. The learning process at school is no different. We learn to do something by practicing it. If my teacher asks me to read or write a lot of pages, week after week, it is to help me experience reading or writing. As usual, we act in our daily lives by analyzing what we are going to do. I don't go into my kitchen and eat something just because I'm hungry. If I'm hungry, I first analyze whether it's because it's time to eat, because I'm nervous, or I just need a snack, then I'll eat or not depending on what my analysis tells me. I know this because of what I have felt in previous experiences. Learning is defined as the acquisition of knowledge or skills through experience, study or teaching, but this is not always clearly established by the student. Think of the learning process as being like a sandwich; study will be one bread and experience the other bread. Many of the things we have learned come from books, articles, essays, teacher-prepared materials, etc. that we read. The study comes to...... middle of paper ...... for the student and the means of learning. The teacher shares his knowledge, time, dedication, patience and even love for the students in his role as a teacher. Often teachers are labeled by students as too hard, too light, too boring, too demanding and we can make a laundry list. But how many truly appreciate what the teacher really is, what he or she shares? Even I label teachers if I haven't finished my homework and the teacher talks to me; I easily prejudge them. The important thing is to sincerely enjoy what the teacher gives in class and to realize that knowledge is not acquired easily but with effort and commitment. You can't say you know what a sandwich tastes like just because someone told you about all the ingredients that make it. sandwich, how it is prepared and what it tastes like. You have to have experience to be able to tell what a sandwich tastes like..
