In the meantime, I will be researching and applying for scholarships and grants. By April of next year I should know which colleges have accepted me and I will evaluate my options (I hope I have options!). I will also prepare my graduation speech, possibly as valedictorian, and study for the IB exams. When I graduate from high school, I hope to have two diplomas – one for high school and one for the International Baccalaureate! Of course, this is just a basic one-year plan. We don't know what could happen to me; what obstacles I may encounter and what opportunities may open up for me. Either way, I'm ready to tackle this journey head on.
