1.0 IntroductionTwain was famous for his quotes and one of his mentioned sayings about schooling which was "I never let my schooling interfere with my education" , (Twain, undated). However, what was Twain really trying to bring to everyone's understanding in his saying? The definition of this quote cannot be simply defined using dictionaries because there is no specific definition for these words. We can however understand this saying through our thoughts or experience, but. when we do so, various explanations are developed, which indirectly leads to several endless interpretations. Twain's saying made it clear that there is a difference between the terms schooling and education. Most of us tend to feel like the two words have the same name. The misunderstanding of the difference between the two terms has led to confusion in various respects.
