He raped, kidnapped, assaulted, strangled, and beheaded numerous people from 1973 to 1978, when he was finally arrested. Although Bundy claimed to have killed 30 people, he also confessed to 36 and hinted at even more. He was a sick man who even participated in necrophilia with his victims. They discovered Bundy was a serial killer when several young women were attacked and missing in the Oregon area. Bundy was a regular guy, he was a boy scout as a kid, he was a crisis counselor, a campaign volunteer, and he went to law school. Bundy's childhood and Jobs really helped him be violent. They taught him everything he needed to know to become the perfect serial killer. He claimed to have had a very stable childhood with caring parents, but having those things doesn't stop you from being crazy. It started when he was a child, when he would prank his aunt by putting knives in her bed while she slept. But his family always seemed to protect him. Additionally, when he was a child, he listened to the radio and practiced speaking like an actor. These skills helped him overcome his shyness as a child and also helped him become a predator. By being so good at talking to people, he had a way of convincing them and that's mainly how he got his victims because he seemed like a trustworthy person. By appearing so trustworthy, it allowed Bundy to be violent. Bundy was a true psychopath once he quoted: "You learn what to kill and pay attention to the details." It is
