Essay / contemporary issues - 2596
This module aims to develop a critical assessment and understanding of contemporary wellbeing issues relating to and affecting health and social care. It will begin by discussing the concept of well-being, as well as the effects of the welfare state on well-being. It will also contain a brief description of the policies and how they are established. It will then examine a particular problem and its effects in the field of health and social services. Alongside this, it will discuss policies/legislation related to the issue and critically assess their effects in health and social care services. Finally, it will critically analyze the impact of current contemporary issues in health, welfare and social welfare, followed by a conclusion of the entire essay. Policies and legislation should not prevent a woman from deciding what she wants to do with her body; instead, they should give her complete freedom to decide what she can do with her body. As there are many reasons why a woman wants an abortion, which should be up to her alone, the health professions should not have the right to decide for them. Just as having an abortion can affect a person's well-being, not having an abortion can also have the same effect on a person. Therefore, if the government wants the welfare and well-being of its people, abortion should be a matter solely for the pregnant woman, even if it will have negative or even positive effects on a woman. The welfare and well-being of the public depends solely on the problems solved by the government..
