Different classes and subclasses exist within lifespan disorders and schizophrenia (Munson, 2001). Categorizing disorders into classes helps the psychologist solve problems related to the type of problem the psychologist is facing to ensure that the help is correct (Hansell and Damour, 2005). The psychologist must define and describe the symptoms classified by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM-IV-TR) ((Hansell & Damour, 2005). Developments of the mind, including disorders, occurring continuously from birth to death, changes in the body are due to common biological factors, life traumas and life choices (Dombeck, 2010) . Underlying these disorders are peer pressure, the pressure to succeed in school, to be a perfect child, to outperform others in school, and to be a community leader (SAMHAS Health Information Network, 2006). Biological Components of Schizophrenia The biological links to schizophrenia are not exclusively genes or environment, the combination of genes and environment causes schizophrenia (Glick, 2005). Nature focuses on genetic choices and nurture is environmental, causing a direct influence on the character traits, environment and innate potential defining the reality of schizophrenia (Glick, 2005). . If genes and environment are correct, schizophrenia is activated and each contributes 100% (Glick, 2005). The psychologist cannot explain a single cause of schizophrenia; Case study results suggest multiple genetic factors, psychological assaults, environmental and hormonal causes that affect brain chemistry (Lifespan, 2009).
