I would tell Julie that it is fantastic that she is doing extremely well in school and already has a set plan for what she plans to pursue a career path after high school. However, I encourage Julie that it is best to have a backup plan just in case, as nothing is set in stone. Julie seems to have explored many career options and chosen the best career path for her. Julie also has a commitment set in stone. I would also tell Julie that often people can change their minds. For example, Julie started taking classes on what she wants to do and then realizes that it's something that maybe she doesn't want to do in her career path after all and that it's completely acceptable. Many people change their minds from time to time. However, if Julie truly knows that this is what she wants to do, I would tell her that she can fulfill this commitment no matter what and that there are many ways, as well as help her fulfill this commitment that she wishes.
