Initially, Android was developed for digital cameras and then for mobile phones, including smartphones and tablets. The Android platform is developed by the Open Handset Alliance, a team of organizations aimed at developing better mobile phones. Google leads this team. And it involves mobile carriers like T-Mobile, Sprint Nextel, handset makers Samsung, Sony, and HTC, component makers like Qualcomm and Texas Instruments, software platform and solution providers, and numerous corporations of marketing. HTC Dream was the first Android device introduced in 2017. the market. As the HTCDreams release date came, the Android group released SDK V1.0 and apps started developing for the Android platform. For the development of the Android market, Google sponsored the Android Developer Challenges, which encouraged people to develop applications. A few months later, HTCDream launched its smartphone and the Android Market was launched. This allowed users to download apps to their phones. 32.2 Android Platform Android features are very rich.
