    Laertes then discovers the death of his father and immediately returns home. He confronts the king and accuses him of the murder of his father. Claudius then tells Laertes that Hamlet was responsible for his father's death. Claudius and Laertes hatch a plan to kill Hamlet. Hamlet then dies from a poisoned sword that Laertes made and used. Hamlet was gloomy after his father's death. He then spoke to a ghost only to discover that his father's death was a murder committed by his uncle Claudius. He then attempts to prove his uncle's guilt and kills him while he also dies from the poisonous wounds inflicted by Laertes during their duel. Then Laertes planned with Claudius to kill Hamlet with the poisoned sword. Laertes believing the king's accusations that Hamlet had murdered his father, he fights Hamlet and cuts him once with the sword. Hamlet then wounds Laertes with the sword, which kills him. Hamlet then waits to kill his uncle while in the middle of a sin but is unable to do so. However, his next chance to get revenge on Claudius is his own.
