I need to take what I'm going to learn and use it to improve someone else's life through robotics. My whole life my parents raised me to care about others, they taught me not only to help myself, but to live a life that helps others as well. My entire family is made up of doctors, surgeons, nurses and teachers. These are professions that not only provide for you but also for others. I knew it wasn't what I wanted to do with my life, but I also knew that if I did something, it not only had to benefit me but also someone else. When I started this research project, I was obsessed with finding everything I needed with immediate access. I was determined to find everything I needed, if not online, then at least in the school library, but when the relevant information dwindled, I became frustrated. That's when I went to the school librarian for help, and with her advice, I was able to find all the research materials I needed. This showed me that there are other, equally effective ways to gather information that will be useful in the future. Even though I had a general direction that I knew I wanted to take my life, I wasn't one hundred percent sure it was the right decision and even now I'm still not one hundred percent but thanks to this project, I can now say with confidence
