Essay / Similarities and Differences Between Cats and Dogs as Pets
Cats and dogs are the most popular pets in the world. Cats versus dogs is a debate that rages even though cat lovers know that their little lovers won the day long ago. Their inspired playfulness and beautiful independent spirit says enough. Even some die-hard dog lovers have turned to the feline side, attracted by their low-maintenance lifestyle and excellent lap decorations. Dogs are considered man's best friends. Although they are both caring animals, dogs and cats have their differences. Cats and dogs can be good pets. For example, in cases of depression or feelings of loneliness, the company of a dog or a cat is unbeatable (“Science Informer”). Cats and dogs are primarily considered pets. They both encourage a display of love, like any living organism. These two wonderful animals have hair, which makes them somewhat similar. Furry animals belong to the mammalian kingdom according to “Science Informer,” which makes them quite similar. These two animals can perform tasks that can make people see things differently when they are alone or in danger. Cats are known to be unique in their own way. Their open-minded personalities and exotic coats are what make cats diverse. According to "1-800petmeds", cats can live up to 10 to 14 years, and during these long years, they do not need to bathe as often ("PetLifeExpectancy"). Cats are very independent and don't mind being alone most of the time because they can entertain themselves unlike dogs. From the information gathered about cats (Science Informer), one advantage I have noticed that makes cats very unique is that people can go about their daily lives and go on vacation without having to worry for their feline when traveling. People wish they could spend their own days tackling catnip, mice, and napping in the sun, all of which make cats very happy. Cats are thought to be more laid back than dogs based on their daily routine. Additionally, dogs are also very affectionate pets that can become attached to humans if treated properly. The difference between cats and dogs is that they can be left alone during the day if necessary, but tend to need attention throughout the day. Dogs are more likely to make messes around the house than cats. The most common thing for dogs is that they pee outside, while for cats they mostly take care of their business indoors. Dogs and cats are both pets, but the two can be very different.
