To become more involved with nurses and the life of a nurse, I became a volunteer at Texas Children's Hospital and immediately loved being able to help children and make them smile. Spending too much time looking at details is something I've always done, as it's a habit because I'm a perfectionist. It's something I'm working on though, as I have control over how I approach things now and time management. Becoming a nurse is something I see myself doing.
