Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901, in Hermosa, Illinois. He co-founded Walt Disney Productions with his brother Roy Disney. Known as one of the world's greatest innovators and dreamers, whose leadership and creativity surpasses most. In the pursuit of his dreams, Walt Disney acquired an exemplary reputation referenced in many companies around the world. The use of exceptional leadership skills and applied behavior of the five discovery skills demonstrates all three levels of thinking (global, personal and organizational) while cultivating an organizational culture to be more innovative. The combination of these skills and behaviors led to the creation of one of the biggest brands in the world, Disney, offering a multitude of products. Abilities to lead people, strategic planning, change management, resourcefulness, do whatever it takes, inspire commitment, learn quickly. , decisiveness, establishing and improving relationships with the composer are repeatedly demonstrated throughout the development and growth of the Walt Disney Co. For example, Walt Disney said: "I perform my vision to make these dreams a reality.” time, energy, resources and talent to make their dream a true reality (Pahl, 2015). This is a testament to his “do whatever it takes” and “resourcefulness” leadership skills. Additionally, when he had a vision for an animated film, Walt would assemble his entire studio staff to act out scenes from the film, bringing the film to life from its pages. This action would pave the way for creativity and open his team's minds to new possibilities, allowing them to be free and innovative. Walt Disney's ability to lead people in a creative direction and inspire commitment from his staff proves that he mastered true leadership. He, for example, used association ideas to link animation with the concept of feature films and installed themed rides in amusement parks (Dyer , Gregersen, & Christensen, 2011). Using his observational skills, while sitting on a bench at an amusement park and watching his daughters play, Walt Disney noticed how tattered and dirty the amusement park was. He also noticed people's reactions to different rides and observed that the children's parents had nothing to do and were eager to go home, while their children were still having fun and playing "Walt Disney" ( 2016).
