  • Essay / A Look at the Outcast's Untouchables - 528

A rejected member of society. An outcast. This definition is the subject of the film. A 17-year-old African American girl slowly begins to embrace her identity as a lesbian, but this begins to create tension in her family as both of her parents do not accept her choice and she feels like an outcast. The film helps people better understand what it feels like to feel alone and rejected, but shows that sometimes you achieve what you want and sometimes you don't, but you always have to move.
