And overall poverty reaches around 30% of the national population and is growing rapidly. Poverty is a major problem in the United States and it should be solved by our community. Poverty is a huge global problem and its effects are difficult to solve. A very common effect of this is homelessness. Many have a home, but it doesn't really provide them with the things they need to live a healthy life. Like air conditioning, heating makes a good bed rather than the floor to sleep on. Other major effects are world hunger and death. Not having food can be a very big problem. Many people live on just one meal a day or are even lucky enough to have one.
