    Our modern society has been repeatedly questioned on many topics that have been considered “morally impactful”. It is accepted today that a problem can only be solved in modern society if adequate evidence is presented to manipulate the unshakable beliefs of many individuals in such a way as to result in an impasse between two opposing parties. Euthanasia is a topic that has been widely debated for most of the 21st century (Larue). Even the definition of euthanasia evokes mixed emotions: the act or practice of killing or allowing the death of desperately ill or injured individuals in a relatively painless manner for the sake of mercy (Merriam-Webster). The struggle over whether euthanasia should be accepted as common practice is largely driven by multiple cultures who tend to consider how many of their views are challenged when determining their stance on the issue (Larue). Regardless, both sides cannot dispute the obvious reality that an individual who adopts the option to “opt out” dies indefinitely. The burden and conviction associated with suicide are often too much for an individual to bear. Under closer observation, euthanasia presents three main problems that make it more harmful than beneficial. Problems with euthanasia include its violation of ethics, its disagreement with the legal system, and the moralistic and religious values ​​that conflict with its practice (Larue). Many principles associated with euthanasia conflict with the ethical beliefs of our modern society. Three main questions come to mind when discussing the ethical issues of euthanasia.
