  • Essay / I want to become a nurse - 1113

This comes from watching my brother grow up with the fear of not being able to make it tomorrow and seeing a nurse hold his hand and tell him everything will be okay and they will work day to day. day to face the difficulties of life. Nurses are not just there to do a job; they are there to be so much more. When doctors see their patients, it lasts from a few minutes to an hour, depending on the context and situation. Who is really there all the time? These are the nurses. The nurse takes the time to know everything about her patients, health-wise and personally, and that's what makes a good nurse. I commit every day to becoming a nurse and being that hand to hold and that smiling face that puts the patient at ease. Ultimately, I want to be the best I can be. I want to help those who cannot always help themselves. Every morning I wake up with the determination to push myself to learn more and become the best nurse I can be. This doesn't stop once I finish school. Becoming better and more engaged in my work grows every day for the rest of my life. I honestly can't wait for my future and what life has in store for me as my nursing profession continues to grow.
