After examining the items in “All My Life” and the eBay items as outlined in the instructions for this assignment, and comparing and contrasting the items. Examining the items listed in "All My Life My Life", I then turned my attention to similar items on eBay. The elements that caught my attention in “All My Life” were the comics. Freyer did not appreciate the value of comic books. Freyer's description of the comics was subjective and otherwise. He felt like the comics were taking up space but he didn't have the heart to throw them away. Many eBay posts describing comics are topical and injected with enthusiasm. Freyer didn't take the time to describe the comics or drum up excitement about the purchase. Freyer said this item was donated. The next item I saw in "All of my Life" was the World War II figurines. These figures could be called action figures. Freyer said he has owned these figurines since he was a child. Freyer lets the reader know that he has spent many hours of imaginative play with these figures. Freyer's description of WWII figures was irrelevant....
