    Condoms, although not covered by insurance, are available over the counter at any drugstore. The statistics are quite revealing since “American women spend approximately 68% more than men on out-of-pocket health care costs,…attributed to lack of adequate coverage of reproductive health services” (Greenberger 1). College campuses give them away for free and when you go to a local clinic they are up for grabs. In some ways it's okay to encourage the use of condoms for men and make them readily available, but somehow now is not the time to use the pill for women. American culture says "Don't be a fool, cover your tool" or "Wrap it before you touch it", and my favorite "Before you wrap it, sheathe your dagger!" ", but where are the slogans for positive use of the pill. Although using condoms prevents many STDs, unlike the pill, if there is a healthy relationship between the partners, the woman should not feel that men are more likely to be the deciding factor in the creation of their relationship.
