Your appearance affects how you are treated, you can either be discriminated against or it benefits you. I honestly believe that money can't buy class. You don't necessarily have to wear expensive outfits to look professional or upper class, it all depends on how you carry yourself. The way you dress and carry yourself says a lot about your course. This is why the first impression has such an effect on us. How you dress during an interview will determine whether you get the job or not. I've also seen many different scenarios where people are discriminated against based on what they wear. I don't think the way people dress is a reason to discriminate against them, but I do believe everyone should know what is appropriate depending on the occasion. Many people dress in whatever way suits them best or simply wear what they like. If a man walks into a place in a suit and tie, he will definitely attract more attention and respect than another man in a regular shirt and jeans.
