However, contemporary human service agencies face many challenges. For example, not all organizations support the appreciation of diversity and justice in the availability and accessibility of services, management practices, and institutional policies. Sometimes levels of transparency and accountability are compromised, particularly when funding expires and the agency struggles to sustain itself.
