Essay / The media hides the truth about beauty - 900
Beauty is a very abstract idea. When it comes to human beauty, in today's society there are celebrities and pop stars to look up to as your ideal man or woman. At first glance, this idea may seem pretty normal due to the fame and fortune of celebrities. Looking closer, many celebrities have undergone various plastic surgeries to manipulate themselves into a so-called “perfect” shape. She uses statistics to prove that 1 to 2 percent of the population suffers from this disorder. She uses this statistic to show why people get plastic surgery.
