STRENGTHS: • Great taste: The fast food chain operates in many diverse cultures where food tastes are extremely different from those of American or Indian consumers. Thus, the ability to adapt to local tastes is one of McDonald's strengths. • Brand Equity: McDonalds has accumulated considerable brand equity. It is now the leading fast food company in India in terms of sales. McDonald's India is a leader in the food retail industry, with a presence of over 310 restaurants serving over 650,000 customers daily in India. The image of McDonald's is recognizable everywhere. This brand is among the top ten most powerful and best brands and brands in the world. • Operations: The company derives part of its revenue from overseas operations. Profits (money) sent to the United States must be converted into dollars, which is influenced by exchange rates, especially when the dollar appreciates against other currencies.
