    The Metamorphosis of Franz Kafka is about Gregor, the protagonist, who wakes up one morning to discover that he has transformed into a monstrous insect. Before Gregor's transformation, he was the man of the family; he provided for his parents and younger sister so that they could live normal, happy lives. However, due to Gregor's metamorphosis, he is no longer able to support them. This series of unfortunate events leads to conflicts between family members that contribute to the meaning of the work. Gregor's transformation causes conflicts with his sister, mother and father. Before Gregor turned into an insect, he worked as a salesman even though he hated it. However, this did not stop him from working every day since Gregor is a man bound by family duties. After Gregor turned into a bug, his sister, Grete, constantly entered his room, barely keeping his room clean and also feeding him tasteless food. Grete's actions quickly become routine, she only does what she can to affirm that she has achieved her goal of family duty. This ultimately leads to conflict...
