When it comes to forensic psychology, a common misconception would be individuals who think that forensic psychology is parallel to forensic science, but this is inaccurate. Forensic science is based on hard science and focuses on laboratory investigation of evidence at the crime scene, which would include collection of DNA as well as analysis of evidence, location
